Riddle...

Say you're gifted an iPod one day. You start listening to it every day on your ride to work. Thats all you do for the next 3 months. Then one day you lose it and there is no way you can afford to buy it.

Now you simply don't know what to do on your way to work. Sure there were other things you did before you had the iPod, but then now you've gotten so used to listening to music, anything else seems a lot less enjoyable.

At this point do you regret ever having an iPod in the first place or be happy that you got to listen to it for a while?

Update: Eventually you forget you ever had an iPod, but somehow the tunes you heard stay in your mind forever...
